Reporting to the SEO Outreach Lead, the SEO Outreach Executive will be part of the team responsible for devising, planning and implementing a wide range of outreach campaigns to improve the overall SEO profile of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. Being a creative person, passionate about SEO and have an interest in travel will be essential to succeed in this position, where you will be a key member of the marketing and wider business team.

As a SEO Outreach Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships between bloggers/third party webmasters, and for planning and organising campaigns and events for bloggers designed to result in blog coverage to help raise the online profile of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.

In this exciting role, you will negotiate the publishing of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays content on 3rd party websites and devise exciting concepts for bloggers which can be used for link earning on a weekly basis.

In addition, you will regularly perform competitor research looking at link building techniques and on-site changes, finding new ideas and methods for optimising performance and outranking our competitors. You will help produce SEO reports showing insights and opportunities, staying up to date with key industry news and trends. Also, you will work with 3rd party agencies to produce creative content for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.

The successful candidate will bring excellent knowledge of off-page SEO, link earning and content marketing, and also good understanding of on-page SEO techniques. You will have sound understanding of Google organic search ranking factors and experience using link analysis tools, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO software and HTML. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong negotiation and project management skills. In terms of experience, you will bring at least 1 year in SEO (in-house or agency), and you will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, able to prioritise and with initiative and creativity.

Day-to-day, your role will involve:

Implement offsite strategies
Recommend changes to website architecture, content and linking
Managing client campaigns


Requirements

The ideal candidate:
Ideally, a minimum of two solid years pf experience within SEO
Experience working with bluechip brands/e-commerce sites is highly desirable
Excellent communciation skills (written + verbal)
Strong technical SEO experience
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Microsoft Excel, Screaming Frog as well as HTML, CSS + JavaScript
