Job description

My client is an award-winning digital agency who are part of a global marketing communications group.  They are recruiting for an SEO specialist to join their growing SEO team here in Cape Town. The agency works with a range of amazing brands across travel, retail and e-commerce and they have clients all over the world. The agency specialises within performance marketing and they have amazing process and systems in place as well as an excellent reputation in the market for the quality work they produce.

Day-to-day, your role will involve:
Testing, analysing data + indentifying trends to achieve ROI
Website analytics
Keyword research
Research + implement SEO recommendations
Implement offsite strategies
Recommend changes to website architecture, content and linking
Managing client campaigns

Requirements

The ideal candidate:
Ideally, a minimum of two solid years pf experience within SEO
Experience working with bluechip brands/e-commerce sites is highly desirable
Excellent communciation skills (written + verbal)
Strong technical SEO experience
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Microsoft Excel, Screaming Frog as well as HTML, CSS + JavaScript
Up-to-date with the latest trends + best practices in SEO
